The Institute of Medical Ethics (IME) offers a variety of grants which are only available in the UK. These are for student elective bursaries, internships, scholarships, institutional and conference awards and essay prizes for junior doctors.

Medical Student Ethics Essay Competition. Since 1982, the Academy of Medicine has sponsored a competition in which medical students from the regional medical schools are invited to submit essays on topics concerning the ethics of medical practice.
